In today’s luxury education landscape, the demand for specialized courses, academies, and master’s programs is flourishing. This is highly beneficial for new entrants in this industry, considering the importance of mastering from day one specific soft skills with a profound comprehension of the mechanisms within the luxury world. Such knowledge is crucial for individuals embarking on careers within this challenging and demanding environment. And the building up of this knowledge can be accelerated before actually joining a company.
In line with this, we have established the first professional Academy dedicated to the yachting business and its ecosystem. Situated in the vibrant and culturally always active city of Venice, the Acquera Academy has the ambition to contribute to the future of the yachting industry by providing comprehensive ad hoc training programs to young talents interested in this field.
The year 2023 marked a significant milestone for Acquera as the first promotion of students successfully completed the course, making it a remarkable adventure and a resounding success.
With our carefully selected tutors, we accompanied and mentored 14 bright young talents throughout their journey. They now all have a solid base to embark in any luxury and yachting related career. We are proud to say that seven graduates have joined our organization and have been assigned to various roles. They hold today different positions from Operations to Experiences Management or Social Media & Design.
This achievement underscores the Acquera Academy’s commitment to fostering talents and create opportunities for career growth within the luxury and yachting industry.
Buoyed by this initial success we are determined to go further and prepare for our next Academy, scheduled to take place in the spring of 2024. Acquera’s ambition is strong, as always in its endeavors, as it aspires to broaden the Academy scope by including a more diverse range of profiles welcoming aspiring talents from a wider scope of nationalities. This expansion aims to create in Venice a dynamic and multicultural learning environment, enabling individuals from various backgrounds to contribute with their unique perspectives and experiences to the luxury and yachting sectors.
