Green Michelin Stars

Delta RestaurantDelta Restaurant is the only restaurant in Greece with 2 Michelin stars. George Papazacharias and Thanos Feskos create a cosmopolitan, conceptual, sustainable, nature-loving cuisine.​ 

Soil Restaurant- Earthy Gastronomy. The famous Greek Chef Tasos Mantis, who brought the Michelin star to Hytra Restaurant , invites you to a holistic experience of a degustation menu in a beautiful neoclassical house in Pangrati. The ingredients used in the recipes are all from the chef’s private garden in Alepochori.

1* Michelin Star

Spondi​ – The first restaurant in Athens to receive a Michelin star in 2002. Spondi always leaned on the creative French side following its Chef’s creativity, creating memorable menus and training top notch brigades.

Hytra​ – Located on the top floor of the Onassis Cultural Centre, approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre, it is the perfect location to enjoy an innovative menu that reimagines traditional Greek flavours. In the warmer months, you can dine al fresco on the 7th floor, with spectacular views across Athens to the Acropolis.

GB Roof Garden Restaurant​ – Perched on the 8th floor of the luxurious Hotel Grande Bretagne, stylish and modern roof terrace offers one fine dining restaurant and two rooftop bars. Awarded several times and serving New Mediterranean cuisine. 

Zonar’s Dionysos Zonars​ – This famous, historic restaurant just happens to be the spot where movies are often filmed because of its astounding location, looking out to exquisite views of the AcropolisToday’s renovated establishment serves high-quality, traditional Greek and international dishes

Modern Mediterranean  

Aleria​ – A mid-19C neoclassical former residence plays host to this eye-catching restaurant with a wonderful hidden garden. 

Coocoovaya​ – A group of the city’s leading chefs came together to open this bustling restaurant, with rustic, homely cooking and generous dishes. The homemade pies from the wood-oven are a hit.  

Vezené ​ – A bistro-style restaurant with plenty of elegant decorative touches and an impressive glass porch. One speciality that we particularly recommend is the delicious and intense BBQ Rib & Trachanasfinished on the grill after being slow cooked at low temperature.

Greek Flavors

Attikos Taverna​ – Greek Flavors in front of the Sacred Rock. This restaurant offers the feeling of the family atmosphere and the welcoming environment. 

Taverna tou Psara​ – Located in the picturesque area of Plaka, is a beautifully landscaped neoclassical building. The historic restaurant “Palia Taverna tou Psara” (“Old Fisherman’s Tavern”) since 1898, is point of reference for those who love good Greek cuisine. 

Klimataria This family-run taverna is a must since 1927. Evenings packed with Mediterranean food, music and dance awaits you here. Considering Klimataria translates as ‘grape vines’, it’s no surprise the wine served here is always excellent.
