PORTOFINO – ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER DESTINATIONS
If you aren’t thinking about the shows but have your mind very much fixated on the Italian Riviera, it is very probable that a visit to Portofino will be on the cards.
PORTOFINO – DIVING
Divers must visit the dive site of Christ of the Abyss. The bronze statue by Guido Galletti was placed on the seafloor in San Fruttuoso bay, in 1954, to protect sailors. It is in the heart of the Portofino Marine Park.
PORTOFINO – LA TERRAZZA
The iconic La Terrazza restaurant housed inside the Belmond Hotel Splendido is still the place to go for sweeping views over the harbour. World class cuisine, and ridiculously romantic, dining here is an unforgettable experience.
PORTOFINO – SHOPPING
Portofino may be small, but it is a shopper’s paradise. The main streets are lined with luxury brand names, and there are also lesser-known brands that sell everything from exquisite cashmere, jewellery to embroidered linen.
